World Oceans Day lands on Friday June 8th this year- a little less than a month away!
I feel like I haven’t shown much “ocean love” in a while…so today that’s going to change!
Here are some photos of different oceans/beaches that I am so lucky to have seen and explored ๐
Have you been to any of these places before??

A really beautiful collection of photos :-). There’s a place close to me that has a sea of seals just like the one in your photo, they come on shore to give birth. Strangely enough the area is used for target practice by RAF pilots, they have huge targets a little off shore.
You can try Chicago or Toronto for an urban feel or you can travel throughout the various cottage countries of Ontario and Quebec and/or any Eastern US state. Check out some of my post to get a better understanding if you wish: http://thepalguy.com/2012/04/24/cottage-country-in-the-spring/

Fantastic!! Thanks for the recommendations ๐
OMG You’ve been to Tahiti! ๐ I’ve only been to 5 of the places in your pictures, so I guess I need to travel more!

Why thank you! Well that doesn’t sound like a good combination- a nursery for seal pups and a target practice area?! That’s a bit scary…
No problem! :). Yeah it’s a strange combination but I think they must stop during the birthing season. It’s a well known seal location.
Weee! Lots of the California sun.
I love California weather!!!
wow, great collection, you have been lucky to see so much of the world so far. There is much more to see, so always have your camera ready!
I have been around the world! But there is still so much to see and explore.. ๐
WOW Some Great Shots! Beautiful.
Why thank you!
You are too kind- appreciate it! Thanks for stopping by.
Point Lobos is one of my favorites. When my wife and I went there, numerous elephant seals were swimming or laying out on the beach.
I love Point Lobos! So gorgeous there..I miss it a lot!
Beautiful pictures.
You’re beautiful ๐ Thank You!
I’ve been to all the California places. None other.
Isn’t California just the best?!
Obviously, since I moved here in the midst of my mid-life crisis back in 1993. lol
Loving the pictures! Sadly i haven’t been to these places ๐ Happy oceans day!
Thanks! Well hopefully one day you can visit some of those places- they are gorgeous ๐ Happy Oceans Day to you too Rebecca!
Stunning images but i have yet to travel to any of these places. I know freshwater lakes much better than oceans.
Thank you! Well you should try and get to at least one of these places..they are all so fantastic. Which freshwater lake should I visit then ๐ ??!
